TfW Fibre
During my final year at Cardiff Metropolitan University, I worked on a live project in collaboration with TfW and Cardiff based studio Uned.
Creating a brand for TfW’s new fibre optic cables, Ddot offers high-speed internet to homes and businesses in Welsh regions, stretching across the North and South. Ddot works on a B2B basis, providing businesses with networks that would be hard to reach without us.
Ddot’s aim is to create a brand that is approachable to all of Wales. Ddot communicates fun and playfulness while maintaining a level of significance and status.
Ddot’s logo focusses on the connection between urban and rural Wales through TfW’s fibre optic network. Centring the logo around the more rural areas of Wales, Ddot strives to create better connection for these regions.
Held annually, the Britain Connected convention is an ideal platform to advertise B2B. Ddot's branding translates to social media effectively, used to build relationships with potential clients through an awareness campaign.
Creating a pop up booth, employees will use the brand’s values and mission to sell our fibre broadband to other businesses attending the convention, such as; BT, Virgin Media and Sky Business. Utilising the convention space is key to the progression of Ddot, and the partners it gains.
